Caledonian MacBrayne (better known as CalMac) ferries run daily from Uig to Lochmaddy. Uig, on the Isle of Skye, can be reached by road from the mainland via the Skye Bridge. From Lochmaddy a 15 minute drive brings you to Sollas, or you can use the local bus service.

Longer ferry crossings run from Mallaig or Oban to Lochboisdale on South Uist. You can then drive the whole length of the causeway-linked Uist island chain to arrive in Sollas a little more than hour later.

If time is tight then Loganair fly from Glasgow to Benbecula Airport (BEB). From the airport to Sollas is another 30 minute drive.
